Specialist Support for Young People Aged 9–25 With Autism, ADHD, ODD, Anxiety or Mental Health Challenges

At Links to Life, we provide more than just supervision. Our Mental Health Support Workers are behaviourally trained and clinically guided to deliver structured, therapeutic care to young people aged 9–25 who experience neurodivergence, mental health challenges or behaviours of concern.

We have Support Workers  Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and are supported by  a Behaviour Support Practitioner to ensure consistency, progress and emotional safety.

What Sets Us Apart

Who We Support

Why Behavioural Training Matters in Day-to-Day Support

With behavioural training, we’re able to respond consistently in real moments, not just in theory. For young people who may experience anxiety or emotional dysregulation, steady and familiar support can help create a more settled environment and strengthen trust over time.

At Links to Life, each Mental Health Support Worker can apply clinically guided strategies that align with the young person’s goals and routines, whether at home, at school, or in the community.

This looks like:

  • Following an NDIS Behaviour Support Plan with confidence and accuracy
  • Using calm, proactive prompts to prevent escalation
  • Supporting skill-building in communication, independence and social participation

By choosing a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker, you ensure your child receives consistent, thoughtful care and guidance in their day-to-day activities. We are committed to fostering progress that allows every young person to participate fully and confidently in life

Data-Driven, Outcome-Focused

We don’t just guess at progress — we measure it. Our behaviour support workers use cloud-based data tools to track each young person’s development in real time. These insights feed directly into your child’s Behaviour Support Plan and guide regular clinical review.

Getting Started With Our Support Team

We take a staged approach to ensure your plan is clinically informed and practical:

  • Consultation and goals — We identify focus areas while drawing on our founder’s lived experience as a mother of children with autism.
  • Professional matching — We pair your family with a qualified disability support worker in Sydney who fits your unique requirements.
  • Therapeutic integration — Specialists incorporate clinical behaviour therapy and occupational therapy into daily routines.

This process ensures every
behaviour support worker makes a meaningful difference in your child’s journey towards independence.

Empowering Young People to Thrive

Mental health and behavioural challenges don’t have to limit potential. With the right support, young people can learn to regulate, participate and connect — with confidence.
