School Consultations

As the NSW Government prepares to launch Thriving Kids, early childhood education and schools will be critical spaces for embedding therapy supports and building developmental capacity. These settings are not only where children spend significant time due to family work commitments, but they also offer rich opportunities for learning through play, social interaction, group instruction, and routine all essential foundational school readiness skills.

What We Do

Links to Life partners with schools to deliver specialist allied health services to improve outcomes for students, educators, and whole school communities. We work collaboratively to build practical, strengths-based supports that enhance learning, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.

Our Services

Individualised Student Services

We create and implement personalised support plans for students with disabilities and behavioural challenges. Our plans are tailored to each student and designed to be easily implemented within the school setting.

Assessments & Observations

We conduct in-school assessments and observations to better understand student needs and current classroom responses. Clear, actionable recommendations are provided to help teachers confidently respond to challenging situations and promote student engagement.

Professional Development for Educators

We deliver practical, hands-on training for teachers and learning support staff, equipping them with effective tools and strategies to work with diverse learners and manage complex behaviours.

Individualised Service Delivery

We understand that every school and student is different. We work collaboratively with your school to design supports that achieve the best possible outcomes for your students.

We offer flexible service arrangements in both delivery mode and frequency to meet the needs of your school community. Services may be delivered face-to-face, in small groups, virtually, or with whole classes or the broader school community. Support can include a one-off consultation, regular sessions across a school term or year, or the design and implementation of a tailored educational program series, allowing schools to select the services and programs that best support student learning, participation, and well-being.

At Links to Life, our approach is holistic, with each student’s individual needs at the centre. We value compassionate, neuroaffirming practice, and evidence-based therapies that create meaningful and lasting change in young people’s lives.
