At Links to Life, we believe in growing great therapists from the ground up. Whether you’re studying psychology, occupational therapy, or just passionate about helping others, becoming a Behaviour Therapist is a powerful way to start making a difference—right now.
Our pathway is designed to give you practical skills and foundational knowledge in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), with the option to go further and become a Registered Behaviour Technician™ (RBT).
Once you’ve completed the online course, we invite you to a face-to-face group training session at our clinic. Here, you’ll put theory into practice under the guidance of a BCBA and experienced staff—essential preparation for working with real clients.
Those who complete the training and apply successfully can work as Casual Behaviour Therapists, earning while they study. Many of our team members find this work so rewarding they choose to continue their journey—some becoming fully certified Registered Behaviour Technicians™ and even BCBAs in the long term.
Explore our Careers Page to see how we support your growth beyond casual work.
It’s important to understand that completing the 40-hour training alone does not make you a certified RBT™. Becoming an RBT requires meeting additional requirements set by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB):
You can read more about the full RBT certification process via the BACB website.
Join our training program and begin a meaningful journey in behaviour therapy. Whether it’s a stepping stone in your career or the start of a new path, Links to Life is here to guide and support you.
