Our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) program is designed to understand and address your child’s behaviours of concern using proven, compassionate strategies.
Our goal is to improve quality of life for your child and your whole family by teaching new, positive skills and reducing behaviours that get in the way of everyday life.
Links to Life is an NDIS-registered provider. All of our Behaviour Support Practitioners are experienced and trauma-informed, working closely with families, teachers, and support workers to deliver plans that make a real difference.
A Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) is a personalised, written document that helps everyone supporting your child – at home, at school, and in the community – understand why certain behaviours occur and what to do about them.
A BSP is developed by a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner following a thorough assessment of your child’s needs, strengths, and environment. It brings together evidence-based strategies so that families, educators, and carers can respond consistently and confidently.
Links to Life is a NDIS-registered provider as such we approved for NDIS code 0110
CB Improved Relationships (Specialist Behavioural Intervention Support)
At Links to Life our team are not only experienced, trauma-informed, and work closely with you every step of the way, but our practitioners hold qualifications as BACB- and AUABA-certified behaviour analysts with postgraduate training in Applied Behaviour Analysis – a level of specialisation that goes well beyond standard NDIS behaviour support registration.
We know that challenging behaviours often stem from unmet needs, frustration, or communication difficulties. Our approach starts by reducing behaviours of concern through building your child’s skills in communication, self-regulation, and independence.
Each PBS plan is tailored to your child’s unique needs.
Unlike some services, we don’t just write plans—we help you put them into practice. Our team can provide intensive 1:1 support to help embed and generalise new skills in everyday settings.
We use evidence-based practices grounded in the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and trauma-informed care, combined with our years of experience as an NDIS registered provider.
We start by taking the time to build a trusting relationship and understand your child and families specific needs and strengths.
From there, we design an individualised learning program that outlines the strategies, environmental changes, and skill-building approaches that will help your child reduce behaviours of concern and build a better quality of life.
Our Positive Behaviour Support Program typically runs for a minimum of 3 months.
